This modern remodel is a cute and beachy 600 sq ft two bedroom apartment located in the culturally rich neighborhood of Barrio Logan, walking distance to the grocery store, trolley, bars and restaurants.
The entrance to the fourplex is gated with private coded entry. This unit is located is single story unit (no one upstairs), located closest to back alley. The master bedroom is spacious and includes walk in closet. The kitchen is sizable and gorgeous, designed with a large quartz countertop fit for cooking, eating or working on your laptop. The living room is snug with a love seat and single sofa seat. Bathroom has a tub and lots of cabinet space. The second bedroom comes with a desk, perfect as a workspace or for the sudden additional guest or small child.

Barrio Logan is an up and coming neighborhood known for its Latinx history. At the heart of the community lies Chicano Park, housing one of (if not the largest) the largest collections of chicano murals in the world. Its rich hispanic culture gives way to some cool shops, markets, restaurants, and breweries. Restaurants can be found mostly along Logan, with my personal favorites: Salud (tacos), Border X (brewery), Storymakers (coffee), and Cuatro Milpas (tacos).
Barrio Logan is located in the southwest portion of downtown, and still central to most San Diego’s landmarks and attractions.. The trolley and grocery store is just a couple blocks away. The convention center less than a mile north (one trolley stop). And we are directly across the other side of the renowned Coronado Bridge and Coronado Island - a beautiful town worth exploring!
The condo was perfect for two of us who needed separate bedrooms. Gigi was super responsive with every question we had. And it was a great stay!
Gigi is really helpful at guiding you through your trip in San Diego. She offered so many great local tips, was always available for communication, and has an incredibly beautiful place which is great for a getaway! Definitely recommend her place.
Perfect little set up with a lovely kitchen and beautiful French doors to the patio that give the place such a fresh feel. Certainly enjoyed calling it home and relished coming back to it after adventures. Everything we needed available within the unit and a grocery store ridiculously close. Lovely cafes and food around. Liked getting to experience San Diego from this area. Thanks for the awesome stay!
Gigi was a wonderful host from booking to even after checkout. She was very helpful and the check in and out process was seamless. She was wonderful with communicating and very prompt with messages or replies. The place was well kept, clean, and perfectly located. I highly recommend staying with her.
We stayed at Gigi's place for two weeks as part of our long-term move to San Diego. Gigi's place is clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and conveniently located. It is a short walk from shops, restaurants, and public transport (trolley) to the rest of the city. Our stay was wonderful and Gigi was by far the most helpful and communicative host we've ever had with AirBnB. She was even happy to help us apartment hunting, going above and beyond the usual duties of a host. This was a great property and Gigi was a great host who helped us quickly get situated at the place. It was exactly as advertised, and prior to arrival, we received quite a detailed email with check-in instructions as well as recommendations. I have to give an additional shoutout for the fancy PDFs to go along with the instructions!
Gigi’s place was wonderful! We stayed two weeks and enjoyed the unit and the neighborhood. The AC unit works great but doesn’t necessarily cool the rooms due to its location in the living area. However, while we were there, Gigi bought a fan, so that fan should help move the cool air into other rooms. The beds comfort is okay. The king bed mattress is wearing and a little thin in spots. The twin bed mattress is also okay but a little stiff. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. The washer and dryer worked great. The WIFI was awesome! We’d highly recommend this place! The market just down the road is amazing, as is the tons of restaurant options. We had no problem with parking or entry into and out of the unit. Gigi has some checkout requests, so make sure and pay close attention to those.
Cute place within walking distance to many options no matter your mood or appetite. Great communication. Easy check-in. Would definitely recommend!!
Gigi's listing in barrio Logan was fantastic. I really enjoyed my little getaway exploring the nearby shops and also everything San Diego has to offer is just minutes away. The apartment is really cute and clean. The smaller room was a perfect remote work office. Gigi was a fantastic host she responded to all of my tourist questions and was very flexible to my travel needs.

Great surrounding community. Loved Chicano Park also. Loved that there was a second room with a desk. Grocery store and great food options a short walk away. Walmart is also about a 15min walk away.
This place was perfect for me and my partner. The kitchen is amazing!! The neighborhood had some great food options, especially Barrio Dog. GiGi was a fantastic and responsive host.
We rented this small condo for a few months for our employees and had a great stay. Gigi was responsive, accomodating and friendly. We had some plumbing issues with the washer and she immediately had it fixed. We also got a parking ticket because we had 3 cars, and she helped with part of the fee.
I absolutely loved Gigis place felt right at home there, I would definitely recommend renting her place if you’re in the San Diego area!
Gigi is great. She’s responsive, and that’s honestly one of the best things you could ask for from an Airbnb host. The location itself, if you’re not familiar with Barrio Logan, doesn’t appear the safest at night, but it’s really not bad. The Airbnb itself is the fourth unit in a series of units, and is at the back of a very thin alleyway.
Clean, simple, and well kept. Gigi was very communicative and friendly during my whole trip.
Gigi was a very responsive host. Our original reservation cancelled on us the day we were supposed to check in and Gigi was quick to accept us into her rental and even gave us an early check in. She was very good at communicating and she was accommodating. The space was good for 4 girls and we were all comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
I enjoyed staying Gigi’s place. The A/C unit above the TV made her small guest home very cool. The TV was great and I liked how you can rotate the screen. The kitchen was really nice, very modern and it has everything you need to cook if you desire to. Near by supermarkets and small restaurants/bars. I also liked how peaceful it was throughout the day and at night and how you had a private entrance. Washer and dryer was also a plus for us since we stayed there for a few days.
